behind the pages

Hello, I’m Tamar — a curator of connection, story, and becoming.
I shape language and spaces where women can move through change and return to their own voice.
Nove is a home for the in-between places — for seasons that don’t fit neatly into titles or timelines. It’s a space for women learning to listen to themselves again, to name what they feel, and to meet what comes next with honesty and grace.
Through it all, my faith has remained a quiet compass — steadying me forward.
Everything you find here is created with one hope: to help you feel a little less alone in your becoming.

my story.
I didn’t arrive here all at once. I arrived in layers.
For years, I worked in both corporate and community spaces, designing experiences that brought people together. I organized large-scale events, built partnerships, and helped create moments rooted in culture, history, and shared belonging. From city streets to conference rooms, I learned how to plan, lead, and turn ideas into living, breathing experiences.
But somewhere along the way, life asked me to slow down and listen.
Life has placed me in the middle of generations — caring for my grandson, supporting my father as he grows older, and carrying the memories of seasons spent building events that celebrated history and community.
Through it all, I’ve learned something simple:
connection is its own kind of legacy.
Those seasons changed me.
They taught me that reinvention isn’t dramatic — it’s quiet. It happens in ordinary days, in small acts of courage, in learning to trust yourself again. Out of those lessons, Nove was born.
Today, I create books, reflections, and quiet returns for women finding their way through seasons of change. I write for the in-between places — the moments that don’t fit neat labels, the chapters that ask new questions, the seasons that require tenderness instead of perfection.
This work is not about having everything figured out.
It’s about paying attention.
It’s about becoming.
And it’s about remembering that your life is still unfolding.
