Room that Holds Her

Room that Holds Her

There’s a room in Nove that doesn’t announce itself.

It isn’t loud with details.

It doesn’t ask to be understood.

But it holds her.

Not the version of her that performs.

Not the one that explains.

The one that went quiet in order to survive.

The one that needed somewhere to fall apart without being watched.

Some rooms are not places.

They are memory made physical.

A feeling that returns before language does.

The cold of the floor.

The pause before breath.

The way absence can have shape.

This room is not built of furniture.

It is built of thresholds. Of waiting.

Of what was never said.

Of what was carried anyway.

And still —

it is not a tragic room.

It is a becoming room.

A space where nothing is demanded.

Where she does not have to rush toward resolution.

Where the undone parts are allowed to exist.

Because sometimes healing doesn’t begin with answers.

Sometimes it begins with a room

that simply lets you be there.

Held.

Unfixed.

Returning.

A quiet note, when it matters. If these reflections resonate, you’re welcome to join the note.
